level 2 Award for Upskilling a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry

We provide a 3 day Nationally Approved Course through BIIAB which enables individuals to gain the necessary qualifications to become licenced.

The Upskilling Door Supervision Course is required if you want to obtain the SIA Door Supervision Licence which allows you to work in the Private Security Industry as a Door Supervisor. Security Officers can work in a wide variety of roles.

This qualification applies to those working within the frontline, public sector, transport, leisure and retail, licenced trade, youth workers.  

The Course consists of 3 units which are separately assessed by means of an externally set and marked multiple choice question papers, and a Practical Assessment

  • Unit 1: Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry
  • Unit 2: Principles of using Equipment for door supervision in the Private security
  • Unit 3: Application of Physical Intervention skills in the private security industry

Entry Requirements:

18+ Years

Basic Level of English to Level 1 Standard

Level 3 – Emergency First Aid at Work (Which can achieve through GuardWatch Security)
