Close Protection
We provide a 12 day Nationally Approved Course through BIIAB which enables individuals to gain the necessary qualifications to become licenced.
This regulated qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to work as a close protection operative as it provides them with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA license.
The level 3 Close Protection course is a demanding course with extremely high standards. Training will encompass all elements of Close Protection with emphasis on practical application of tactics and procedures.
Training scenarios are filmed to highlight specific areas of development and used constructively to support the trainee. Instructors are on hand to always give guidance.
The course includes reconnaissance and planning, foot and vehicle drills, introduction to evasive driving skills, threat assessment, search techniques, route selection and evacuation drills.
During the course we will identify the threat and risk factors associated with the role of a Close Protection operative, high light dangers and direct our trainees towards the constant need to assess the situation in an operational sphere.
The Course consists of 3 units which are separately assessed by means of externally set and marked multiple choice question papers.

18+ Years
Basic Level of English to Level 1 Standard
Level 3 – Emergency First Aid at Work (Which can achieve through GuardWatch Security)
