Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry

At our GuardWatch Security Training Centre, we offer a 4-day nationally approved course through Highfield that equips you with the qualifications needed to become a licensed Security Officer.

This course is your pathway to obtaining the SIA Security Guarding Licence, allowing you to work across a range of roles within the private security sector.

As a licensed Security Officer, you can work in diverse environments including retail (store detection, loss prevention), commercial properties, leisure venues, reception areas, gatehouses, mobile patrols, and alarm response teams.

Our course covers three key units, assessed through externally set multiple-choice exams and practical assessments.
