Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry

We provide a 4 day Nationally Approved Course through BIIAB which enables individuals to gain the necessary qualifications to become licenced.

The Security Guard Course is required if you want to obtain the SIA Security Guarding Licence which allows you to work in the Private Security Industry as a Security Officer. Security Officers can work in a wide variety of roles.

This qualification applies to those working within the Store detection, Loss Prevention, Commercial, Leisure, Reception, Gatehouse duties, Mobile Patrol and Alarm Response Security Officers.

The Course consists of 3 units which are separately assessed by means of externally set and marked multiple choice question papers and practical assessments.

Entry Requirements:

18+ Years

Basic Level of English to Level 1 Standard

Level 3 – Emergency First Aid at Work (Which can achieve through GuardWatch Security)
