Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry (Top Up)

We provide a 1 day Nationally Approved Course through BIIAB which enables individuals to gain the necessary qualifications to become licenced.

The Security Guard (Top Up) Course is required if you want to re-new your SIA Security Guard Licence which allows you to work in the Private Security Industry as a Security Guard. Security Officers can work in a wide variety of roles.

This qualification applies to those working within the Store detection, Loss Prevention, Commercial, Leisure, Reception, Gatehouse duties, Mobile Patrol and Alarm Response Security Officers.

The Course consists of 2 units which are separately assessed by means of an externally set and marked multiple choice question papers, a Practical Assessment.

Entry Requirements:

18+ Years

Basic Level of English to Level 1 Standard

Level 3 – Emergency First Aid at Work (Which can achieve through GuardWatch Security)
